National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICAR) invites applications for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerk, Technician-A and Staff Car Driver Vacancies. Name of the Post:
1. Lower Division Clerk: 01 Post
2. Technician – A (Laboratory Division): 01 Post
3. Technician – A (Engineering Support): 01 Post
4. Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade): 04 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 and 27 years for Sl no 1 Post, 18 and 28 years for Sl no 2 & 3 Post, not exceeding 25 years for Sl no 4 Post as on 25-07-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 12th Class or equivalent qualification with typing speed of 35 wpm in English on computer for Sl no 1 Post, 10th or equivalent with one year certificate/ diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or one year Laboratory experience for Sl no 2 Post, 10th Pass/ Matric/ Equivalent with ITI or National Trade Certificate (NTC) for Sl no 3 Post, Matric/ SSC or equivalent with valid driving license issued by RTO of any State for Sl no 4 Post.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on written test/ driving test & interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to Pay Rs.100/- through Demand Draft in favour of The Director, National Institute of Epidemiology payable at Chennai and no fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply in prescribed format along with DD, attested copies of the certificates in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, community etc and send to the Director, National Institute of Epidemiology, Second Main Road, Tamil Nadu Housing Board, Ayapakkam, Chennai- 600077 on or before 25-07-2014.
