Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18 – 27 years as on 22-09-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 10+2 Standard or 12th class pass from recognized University/ Board of School Education Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject (excluding vocational streams), Should have studied local language of the State or Union Territory of Tamilnadu Postal Circle or Hindi as a subject at least in Matriculation or equivalent for Sr.No:1 Post, Matriculation from a recognized Board/ University for Sr.No:2 Post, Matriculation/ ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University for Sr.No:3 Post. Candidates who have represented the country in an International competition with the clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports. For other Sports Qualification refer Notification.
Selection Process: Selection will be made on the basis of Fitness Trials.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- in any of the computerized post offices in Tamilnadu Postal Circle through e – Payment specifying Direct Recruitment of PA/ SA/ PM/ MTS under sports quota and Division/ Unit for which he/ she is applying and submit the original receipt along with the application.
How to Apply: Eligible Meritorious Sports candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of qualification certificates, date of birth certificate, Community Certificate, Proof of Sports Qualification, recent passport size photograph should be duly attested on the application form, application fee etc on or before 22-09-2014 to Chief Postmaster General, Tamilnadu Circle, Chennai 600002.
